MONTHLY CHALLENGE

Looking ahead:  January, 2021 application is due to show our work as the TCAG at the Rio Gallery in SLC.  Recognition of our creative work is critical to our growth.  The division of Arts and Museums is at

https://artsandmuseums.utah.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/proposal-guidelines2019.pdf

We have decided to use ANGELS & DEMONS as the focus of our work.

This can include any intepretation of the theme, including abstract or non-representational work, within the bounds of the prospectus. Mindfully create your own body of work using each month's challenge.   For example, 'Youthful Angels', the challenge for February, may inspire you to do a series involving cupids, cherubs, etc. OR you can use the general 'Angels & Demons' to inspire your own personal interpretation - a young person who has acted as an angel to you, or represents an angel to you.

You could sculpt, paint, photograph, draw, quilt, bead, paint silk, the options are endless!  By next January we hope to have a cohesive collection of work that we can use to apply to the Utah Visual Arts Fellowship opportunity.

Each month's meeting will give you an opportunity to show what you have created in response to the challenge.

During the winter months you can practice your drawing and painting skills Saturday 9-11 a.m.

Fox and Raven Studio sponsors this event, which is held in the rotunda of the Tooele Community Center, (address here)

Live model, good facility, beautiful north light and hot drinks provided.
